Our client, an emerging beverage brand with a bold, youth-focused vision, approached us with a mission to bring the fun of boba into everyday life — no café, no waiting, no rules. Boba Planet wasn’t just another drink on the shelf; it was designed to feel like a tiny celebration in a bottle. Their goal was to create a product experience that was playful, portable, and completely unique, combining popping boba with bold flavors, wrapped in a brand that sparks curiosity and joy from the very first glance. The challenge was to make every bottle tell a story — one that could live on store shelves, phone screens, and in the hands of first-time boba sippers.

Challenges
Despite its bold concept and flavorful range, Boba Planet faced key challenges in translating its energy into a cohesive, scalable brand:
Inconsistent visual identity across SKUs and packaging formats
Lack of a strong storytelling framework to highlight the pop-sip-wow experience
No unifying digital presence that connected retail packaging with online touchpoints
Product visuals that didn’t fully capture the fun, flavor, and ease of the ready-to-drink format
In short, the product was loud and lovable — but the brand needed a system to amplify that joy across every scroll, shelf, and sip.
My Approach
We knew Boba Planet had to feel fun at first glance — and unforgettable on second. So we leaned into intergalactic flavor, high-impact visuals, and cheeky copywriting, while still keeping the product hero front and center.
Packaging + Visual Language
Developed a bright color-coded system per flavor
Created a consistent label layout with layered boba orbits, flavor names, and starbursts
Infused personality with phrases like “Pop. Sip. Wow!” and playful taglines per bottle
Made the popping boba visually visible to fuel curiosity and impulse buys
Content + Campaign Strategy
Shot high-contrast product images with motion elements (pop, fizz, swirl)
Designed Instagram-ready reels & stories showing people popping, sipping, reacting
Planned “Boba On the Go” campaign content (parks, desks, cars, beaches)
Retail & Digital Planning
Structured mockups for display units and flavor shelf blocks
Proposed shelf-talker designs with flavor bios and texture notes
Optimized Amazon-ready imagery and A+ content that explains “what’s inside the bottle”
Results
Fully built-out packaging system for current and upcoming flavors
Product photos + content assets ready for retail, ads, and digital launch
Clear storytelling for a product many customers were curious — but unsure — about
Brand voice that stands out in a sea of generic drinks with zero personality
Future Plans
Introduce new flavors.
Launch a “Pop Culture” limited edition series with influencer collabs
Develop a short animated explainer for boba newbies
Introduce multi-pack bundles (3-flavor Galaxy Pack) for e-commerce
Roll out vending machine-friendly formats for college campuses and events
Conclusion
Through vibrant storytelling, playful visual systems, and clear brand structure, we helped bring Boba Planet’s vision to life. This project reflects our ability to take a product that’s already fun — and turn it into a brand that feels memorable, craveable, and built for impact.
From scroll-stopping packaging to mood-lifting messaging, our work with Boba Planet reinforces Atomic Minds’ commitment to building brands that aren’t just consumed — they’re experienced.
